Centurion Basketball Wins Florida Tourney

Christmas Break Recap

Over Christmas Break, the CAL boys’ varsity team flew to Jupiter, FL, to play in the Jupiter Christian Holiday Tournament. The team’s first game resulted in a win over Vera Florida 80-60. In the second round of the tournament the team met Inlet Grove and again came out victorious 62-52. In the championship game the Centurions faced off against Coral Springs Christian Academy, who was 10-2 coming into the game, and came out as champions winning 60-52. They went to Florida on a three game winning streak and left with three wins and named winners of the tournament. The trip was a great time of playing basketball, team bonding, and enjoying the beach.

CAL vs Collegiate

After returning from Florida, the team went into a home game against Collegiate and came out with a win, 70-46, bringing their record to 10-3 with seven wins in a row. 

CAL vs Manual

(1/9/10) The Centurions faced a very experienced and deep (eight seniors) Manual team. After starting out very slow (down 20-12 at the end of the first quarter), the boys battled back before losing 75-67.
