Petit Signs with Bellarmine University
Madison Petit signed with the Bellarmine University Field Hockey Program on Friday, February 5. Petit has been a member of the Lady Centurions Field Hockey team for the past four years at the Varsity level in the Defensive Back and Midfield positions.
Petit has had an outstanding field hockey career with the Centurions. Last season she served as a team captain, was nominated for the Miss Field Hockey Award, was a member of the Kentucky Senior All-Star Team and received the Centurion Award. She also competed in the USA National Field Hockey Festival and USA National Indoor Tournaments with the International Field Hockey Club of Kentucky (IFHCK).
In addition to field hockey, Petit has provided over 3,300 service hours to the community through various service projects and participated in a mission trip to the Gulf Coast.
Petit will be studying Nursing and is the daughter of Richard and Rebecca Petit.
